World Book Day

On Thursday, pupils across the Prep School fully embraced the theme of Words on World Book Day. Pupils looked amazing in the depictions of their chosen words: from adjectives such as flamboyant, to verbs like embolden, as well as plenty of nouns like tradition and celebration. Great to see so many staff also dressing up to showcase new vocabulary to pupils: ostentatious was a particular favourite from Pre-Prep!

In addition to dressing up, pupils fully embraced their activities, centred around Words: reading the Book Collector, writing poems based on their chosen word, working out the value of words in maths, as well as completing Blackout poetry in art amongst many others.
