Reduce, Reuse, Recycle… and Rethink!

Last week, we enjoyed an informative assembly to mark Recycling Week. Mrs Deale helped us explore all the different things we can recycle – including some surprising items such as foil and spray bottle triggers. We also discovered what happens to our rubbish once it leaves our homes and schools. 

The assembly reminded us of the importance of the “4 Rs”: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rethink. Our eco-warriors are now working on new ways to improve our environment, and the children shared some fantastic ideas during the assembly to help us all make a difference.
