Year 6 lead Black History Month Assembly

This week, we had a wonderful Black History Month assembly led by a group of Year 6 children. They spoke about the people who inspire them and reflected on this year’s theme, ‘Standing firm in power and pride’.  Even with some last-minute technical hiccups, the children delivered their assembly confidently. It was inspiring to see our pupils take the lead, and to celebrate diversity, and encourage us all to reflect on the importance of equality. Well done Team!
