Home-Grown Talent Shines at Rush Hour Concert
Tuesday’s Rush Hour concert was a heartwarming celebration of musical talent and community spirit in the prep school. Twenty children from Years 4 to 6 performed to their parents and teachers in the Soderberg Hall, showcasing a wide range of instruments including the cello, clarinet, piano, viola, flute, trumpet, cornet, trombone, and voice.
What made the evening particularly notable was that over a third of the performers had begun their musical journey through one of our music schemes—true home-grown musicians. Their progress and confidence were a testament to the strength and impact of our music offering.
Equally inspiring was the atmosphere of encouragement and camaraderie. It was noticeable how supportive the children were of one another, quietly cheering each other on and celebrating every performance with genuine enthusiasm.
The concert was a joyful reminder of the talent coming up through our school and the importance of nurturing it. Huge congratulations to all the performers!
