Free Music Starter Lessons

The Music Department is pleased to be able to offer pupils in Years 4 to 6 four weeks of taster lessons, delivered by our expert visiting music teachers. Pupils interested in learning the tenor horn (brass) or bassoon (woodwind) will be able to have a set of paired or small group lessons free of charge. 

During the taster lesson period, pupils will be able to decide if they like the instrument, and whether they would like to continue learning. If pupils continue with their instrument, parents will be put in touch with the visiting music teacher and weekly lessons will be arranged. These lessons are paid for directly to the instrumental teacher.
