Letting Marbles Lead the Drawing

Year 6 has been experimenting with a range of drawing styles and tools in their art lessons. This week, they explored automatic drawing using ink and marbles, creating energetic and unpredictable patterns across the page. 

The children then took their work a step further by carefully adding controlled watercolour shading to selected areas, developing contrast and focus within their designs. The combination of chance and control led to some fantastic results.
