Year 2 Dive into Drama

Year 2 pupils have thoroughly enjoyed embracing new techniques in their Drama lessons this week, including hot seating and role play. Hot seating allows pupils to take on the role of a character and answer questions in role, helping them to explore characters’ thoughts and feelings. They have been exploring the story of The Rabbit, the Dark, and the Biscuit Tin and worked together with enthusiasm to create confident and engaging scenes. Pupils have consistently given their best effort, impressing us with their clear voices, expressive gestures, and growing confidence in their role. Over the course of the term, Year 2 will continue to explore the characters in this story, deepening their understanding of the importance of day and night.
