Working Together in Art

Senior Art Club have been very busy recently, exploring a range of exciting collaborative projects. Inspired by the work of artist Lucy Kent, the children worked together to create a large acrylic painting that combines elements of landscape with abstract shapes and colours. The finished piece shows how different styles can come together to create something unique. 

The group have also been experimenting with collaborative shadow drawings. Using flowers and light to create interesting shadows, pupils traced and developed the shapes before exploring them further with crayon and watercolour. This allowed them to experiment with colour, texture and layering.
