Reception’s Stone Age Afternoon

Reception’s Stone Age Afternoon

On Wednesday afternoon, the Reception children stepped back in time and spent the afternoon living like people in the Stone Age! The children had a wonderful time making their own mud paint and creating cave paintings. They also used mallets to make beautiful natural pictures and explored drawing on stones using charcoal.

As part of the afternoon’s activities, the children also enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire, which was very exciting!

We were incredibly proud of the children for their fantastic behaviour, enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the afternoon. It was a brilliant hands-on experience that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
