A Roarsome Time!

We explored the different names of dinosaurs and were amazed at how tricky some of them were to say. The children enjoyed discovering fascinating facts about these prehistoric creatures, including what they liked to eat and how we know they once roamed the Earth. We learned about fossils and how they help us understand the past. 

In the afternoon, we had great fun becoming real-life palaeontologists and archaeologists. The children carefully dug through sand to uncover hidden fossils, using their tools just like experts do. There was lots of excitement as we also explored dinosaur eggs and discovered baby dinosaurs inside! 

It was a fantastic afternoon of discovery with all the children getting stuck into their learning. Well done, Reception, for your brilliant exploring!
