Shortlisted for Third Consecutive Year, ‘Independent Prep School of the Year’, Tes School Awards 2026

Caterham Prep has been shortlisted for the ‘Independent Prep School of the Year’ award in the 2026 Times Education Supplement (Tes) School Awards, the ‘Oscars’ of the education world.

We are incredibly proud to be recognised in this way for the THIRD consecutive year, placing us again in the top eight prep schools in the country. No other prep school has achieved this consistency of high ranking. This accolade follows on from our senior school’s win as Tes’ Best Independent Senior School.

The Tes Schools Awards recognise the very best teachers and schools from UK state and independent schools, across early years settings, primary and secondary. An expert panel of judges comprised of leaders in education selected the shortlist from a huge number of entries across the country.

Winners will be announced on Friday 19 June at the Tes awards ceremony in London.
