Family of Schools Spring Art Competition Winner!

Family of Schools Spring Art Competition Winner!

The inaugural Family of Schools Spring Art Competition was a huge success, with an incredible standard of artwork submitted from across all three schools. Children from Pre-School all the way through to Year 8 showcased their creativity, imagination and artistic talent through a wide range of beautiful spring-themed pieces. From vibrant paintings and mixed-media collages to detailed nature studies and imaginative scenes, every entry reflected the enthusiasm and effort of the young artists involved. Congratulations go to every child who took part, the quality of work made judging extremely difficult!

Photographed here are the Caterham Prep 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries from each age category. The first-place winners from Copthorne, Hawthorns and Caterham Prep progressed to the final Family of Schools judging round, representing their age groups anonymously, with all school names removed to ensure fairness.

Representing Reception – Year 2 was Shray (Year 1) with his imaginative and colourful “Fork Landscape” artwork. Representing Years 3 – 5 was Naya (Year 4) with her stunning “Tree in Blossom” painting, while Ava (Year 6) represented the Year 6 category with her beautifully detailed horse portrait.

All finalist pieces were judged by Mr Jones, who praised the exceptionally high standard across the competition. After careful consideration, Mr Jones selected Naya (Year 4) from Caterham Prep as the Overall Winner of the very first Family of Schools Spring Art Competition.

A huge well done once again to all our talented young artists for making the competition such a memorable celebration of creativity, imagination and springtime inspiration.
