It’s All Fun and Games… and Maths!

Year 6 have been busy putting their creativity (and maths skills!) to the test by designing and making their own maths board games. The results were incredibly impressive, with so many imaginative ideas and eye-catching designs. Lots of the games were even made in 3D, with moving pieces, pop-up features and interactive elements that brought them to life. 

This week, our Year 5 pupils had the chance to try out the games, and they had a fantastic time solving the maths challenges, playing against their friends and voting for their favourite game at the end. Year 6 loved seeing everyone enjoy their hard work and explaining how their games worked. 

It was wonderful to see so much excitement about maths, as well as the fantastic creativity, effort and teamwork shown by our Year 6 pupils. Well done to everyone involved!
