House Music Competition Final

House Music Competition Final

Due to the exceptionally warm weather, this year’s House Music final was held in the Music classroom rather than our usual venue—but this did nothing to dampen the atmosphere or the quality of performances.

The finalists performed brilliantly, showcasing not only their musical ability but also their commitment and hard work in preparing for the event. It was a wonderful celebration of music across the Houses, with each performer bringing their own character and confidence to the stage.

Despite the more intimate setting, the sense of occasion was very much felt. Pupils supported one another enthusiastically, and the audience was treated to a wide range of performances that highlighted the depth of talent across the school.

A huge well done to all who took part—you represented your Houses with pride and should be very proud of your achievements. Congratulations also to our winners whose performances stood out for their musicality and polish.

Huge congratulations to our winners who were as follows:
Grade 1 Winner: Poppy W, piano.
Runner up:  Eliza, harp
Grade 2 Winner: Nora, harp.
Runner up: Isabelle, singing
Grades 3 – 4 Winner: Zoe, clarinet.
Runner up: Annika, violin
Grade 5+ Winner 1st prize: Rosie, cello.
Winner 2nd prize: Kiera, piano

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible, and to the pupils for their hard work and dedication. It was a fantastic way to celebrate music together, even in the heat!
