Natural Disasters Workshop

Year 4 had an exciting and educational day when One Day Creative led a hands-on workshop all about natural disasters. Through a combination of science, drama and interactive activities, the children explored some of the most powerful forces on Earth. 

Throughout the day, pupils learned about earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and extreme weather. They investigated the science behind these natural events and discovered how and why they occur. Using drama and role-play, the children brought their learning to life, acting as scientists, reporters and eyewitnesses to different disaster scenarios. 

The workshop encouraged curiosity, teamwork and creativity, with pupils fully immersed in a range of engaging activities. They developed their scientific understanding while also building their confidence in speaking, performing and working collaboratively.
