Science meets Technology
Year 6 Scientists were studying household acids (e.g. vinegar) and alkalis (e.g. washing up liquid) by testing them with two types of indicators. Litmus and Universal. The resulting colour changes allowed us to determine whether a solution was acid or alkali. The pupils were able to continue updating their ‘Intro to Chemistry’ videos, which will be screened next week!
