Year 4 Get to Grips with Wind Power
Year 4 were very excited to have a visit from Mr Elmes, Prep Dad and Head of Business Development at Siemens Garmesa. Mr Elmes came in to talk to us about renewable wind power, how it all works and how important this technology has been become, it was fascinating! What we really enjoyed was learning about how the huge wind turbines are built and looked after by the engineers. We even got to try on some of the protective outfits that they wear!
