An Action Packed Week for Year 2
Year 2 have had a fun and action packed week!
On Monday morning the children demonstrated their budding instrumental skills to their parents and showed how far they have progressed learning a new musical instrument in their music lessons this term. Everyone was very impressed with how well the children performed after only a few weeks of lessons.
On Tuesday, the children enjoyed a fun playtime in the swimming pool to end off a great year of weekly swimming lessons. There is no doubt that the children’s water confidence and skills have come on in leaps and bounds and there were lots of happy faces to be seen!
Wednesday was then another busy day with our Sports Day. The children participated with much enthusiasm and excitement to an audience of cheering parents and carers. Well done to everyone for your great team work!
Finally, the children have been writing their memories of Pre-Prep in preparation for the Year 2 Celebration Assembly next Monday morning. We will look forward to seeing as many parents as possible at this special event to mark an exciting time for the children transitioning from Year 2 to 3.
