Sal’s Shoes Donations

Sal’s Shoes Donations

Children tend to outgrow their shoes before they outwear them, and shoes are relatively difficult to recycle; so Sal’s Shoes finds children’s preloved shoes their new feet. In the last 10 years, the charity has distributed over 5,000,000 pairs of shoes in 60 countries around the world. In the U.K. Sal’s School Shoes Fund distributes new school shoes and PE trainers to school children in need. Last year over 30,000 pairs were given out. The charity now also operates 11 Sal’s shoes shops’ nationwide, in existing community spaces, where low income families can retain their sense of dignity, enjoy a shopping experience and exercise choice, without having to pay for the footwear they need.

Our Sal’s Shoes donation trailer will be back for all your kind donations.

Prep School Car Park: 17 and 18 September 2024

Senior School Car Park: 19 and 20 September 2024.

If you have any shoes you wish to give between now and September please use our black donation bins which are located up at Beech Hanger in the Senior School and The Prep covered playground.

Please take the time to ensure your Sal’s Shoes: are outgrown but not outworn, don’t have holes in soles, have laces if they need them, have had a quick clean and are rubber banded in pairs or in bags. We take all styles and sizes of shoes so long as the larger, adult sizes are still child appropriate, no heels please.
