12 Teams Competing for the Debating Society Crown
With Round 1 complete it is shaping up to be a close competition, with 12 different teams competing to be crowned House Debating champions. There were strong performances this week, and the top point scorers were Pilgrims 3 (Amaya/Annabel H) who persuaded us that the most important subject to study at Prep School was Global Citizenship and Pilgrims 1 (Shri, Ishani and Beth) who successfully argued that the most important job in our society was being a Member of Parliament. Special contribution awards were given to Nicole, Sara, Tom, Mia and Ben D and Speaking Progress awards went to Beth, Annabel S, Diya and Max.
