Reception Explore Fairy Tales
The Reception children have thoroughly enjoyed their Fairy tale topic this term. Each week they looked at a different story and took part in lots of fun creative story related activities. The topic has offered the children lots of opportunities to Role play with puppets, masks and costumes! They produced some fantastic writing including Little Red Riding Hood basket lists for Grandmother, sorry letters to the Bears and Troll Wanted posters! The children also made their own playdough and collage Gingerbread Men, collaborated to make troll bridges with the big outdoor wooden blocks and drew detailed maps for Little Red Riding Hood, which they then followed on an outdoor adventure! Well done to all the Reception children for participating in all the activities with great enthusiasm!!
