A New Home for New Ideas
Over the last two weeks, Prep children have been beginning to put the new Prep Innovation Centre through its paces. Designed as more than just a ‘computer room’, the Prep Innovation Centre is a flexible workspace with reconfigurable furniture, mobile computing and STEM at its core. Spaces can rapidly be accessed and organised for media, robotics, communication and collaboration. Children have been finding new ways to work and asking all sorts of questions as they explore their new learning space. Innovation does not start and end within the walls of the Prep Innovation Centre but takes place right across our site in every classroom and out into our woods. What our new centre does give us, however, is a focus for new ideas and a new playground for thinking differently. What would you like to try?
