Action Packed Year 2
With just one more week until half term, it’s no wonder 2P’s photo album is bursting at the seams! Our outdoor adventures, both on the sports field and in the forest are proving to be as popular as ever. This week we searched beyond our outdoor classroom for signs of animals in our environment during Forest School and our football skills are progressing at a pace on the pitch too! We collaborated and choregraphed a fabulous dance to the four elements; Earth, Air, Fire and Water during Topic time and we are also quickly becoming marvellous masters of many a maths problem. The smiles overflowed at playtime as we continued to enjoy lots of sunny intervals on the field.
2M have had a fantastic time at school too, enjoying a wide variety of activities and lessons. In Outdoor Learning we collaborated in groups to create balanced structures to support a ball. In our Topic work we continued finding exciting clues from the Firebird, recreating her four Element Eggs and choreographing a group dance for each element. In Games we worked on improving our dribbling and passing skills for football as we move towards mini matches.
