Appy Christmas!
Year 6 have been learning the basics of mobile app design this term and have begun experimenting with simple creations that they can try for themselves before they embark on their major app-creation project for the year. Romilly in 6S has pushed on from the basic ‘click-counter’ app that the children designed in class, producing a prototype ‘Mindful Fidget App’, complete with toggles, buttons and sliders to help children to keep engaged and develop their self-awareness skills. She presented it in a short video, enhanced with animated emoji to showcase it as her favourite Digital Innovation achievement of the term. We can’t wait to try the real thing!
