Beautiful Botany in Year 5
Having completed their wonderful life explorers books, Year 5 scientists kicked off their new module with some botany.
Making the most of the beautiful Japanese cherry blossoms in the playground whilst they are still with us, children collected, dissected and labelled up the parts of a flower. This module will see children exploring the amazing world of biology and the life cycle of different organisms. Watch this space for a fusion of ART and SCIENCE.
