Caterhamians Love Reading!
There has been an excited buzz around the Prep School this week, as children in Years 3 to 6 have started working through their new reading lists and working towards their Autumn reading awards! Miss Stone has been thrilled to hear about all the wonderful books children are reading, and Mrs Deale has had her work cut out in the library trying to keep up with all the children’s requests and the library has been piled high with books ready to go out to their new readers!
The Reading Ambassadors also met this week, to discuss how to promote reading for pleasure around the school, as well as finding spaces that could become reading nooks. They were full of great ideas and enthusiasm for reading. Keep up the great work everyone!
