Confidence Clear at Local Football Fixture for U8 Girls
The U8s travelled to Reigate on Tuesday afternoon to wrap up their football matches for the season.
It was a super afternoon, with both teams coming away winners- As 2-1 and Bs 4-1. During recent lessons, the girls had been working on spacing out and supporting players when off the ball. They all tried to be more disciplined in their playing positions and it was great to see them more confident to engage in a tackle. Well done everyone, POMs- Bethany S and Olly B.
The U10s also travelled to Reigate this week. Playing as ‘mixed’ teams, it gave all the girls an opportunity to work with a different squad of players in a round robin festival of fun football. Well done everyone – they finished of the season with house matches.
