Creative and Critical Thinking Club
Last week saw the start of our new Creative and Critical Thinking Club with Year 5 children. Here we approach everything with our philosophical hats on and consider the bigger questions. Instead of ‘What time is it?’, we would ask, ‘What is time?’ In our first two sessions, we have got creative discussing what we think the opposite to cheese or a zebra is and created other uses for everyday objects. This week, we even spent quite some time thinking critically and deliberating as to whether the hole in a doughnut exists or not and whether the hole is something or nothing? Perhaps a question to have around the dinner table?
