Easter Reading Challenge! Record Numbers Take Part

We are thrilled to announce that a record number of children successfully completed this year’s Easter Reading Challenge, with over 50% of pupils in the Pre-Prep taking part.  This year’s challenge encouraged our youngest readers to explore words in all kinds of places – from reading a transport timetable and following a recipe, to spotting ingredients on a cereal box, discovering the meaning of new words in a dictionary and, of course, visiting their local library.

The challenge was all about discovering that reading isn’t just something you do in books – it’s part of everyday life that can also involve lots of fun and adventures with friends and family too, even whilst on holiday.   Whether they were planning a journey, cooking with family, or picking out a bedtime story, children across our Pre-Prep community embraced the challenge with energy, creativity, and curiosity.

We are incredibly proud of every single participant. The learning, confidence, and fun that happened along the way have been truly inspiring. Huge congratulations to all our young reading adventurers!
