EDGE in Action
Earlier today, Year 5 pupils from across the Family of Schools came together for EDGE in Action: From ideas to impact, a collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship challenge focused on making a positive difference in the world around them.
Hosted at Caterham School in partnership with Enactus, the day saw mixed-school teams exploring real-world social and community challenges before developing creative solutions and pitching their ideas. Throughout the event, pupils built skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving and presentation while developing confidence in sharing and refining their thinking.
The event brought the EDGE curriculum to life through a practical, pupil-led experience, encouraging children to move from ideas to meaningful action. It was wonderful to see the creativity, empathy and innovation shown by pupils as they worked together to design solutions for a better future. The day also helped to build a bridge between the Prep and Senior School EDGE programmes, giving pupils an exciting introduction to the collaborative, future-focused learning experiences they will encounter as they continue their journey through the Caterham Family of Schools.
