Egg-citing Stuff!
The Year 1 children have had an ‘egg-citing’ time this week! They accepted a challenge from their teachers – ‘Can you keep an egg from cracking, even if it is dropped?’. The children thought carefully about which materials would be best suited to protecting the egg’s shell and they designed and created their own ‘egg casing’. Then came the fun part – they did an ‘egg-speriment’ to test whether their eggs would survive a fall or not. The children (and eggs) had a cracking time!!
