ENGLAND ROCKS COMPLETED!

Back in November, TTRS held an England Rocks competition and what an amazing three days of times tabling we had! Both the class and individual leaderboards kept changing from hour to hour and day to day. A huge well done to the whole of the Prep School for getting really stuck into their times tables. 

Nearly 5,000 schools up and down the country took part in the competition and Caterham Prep’s total score gave them a position of 126th! With less than 200 children in the Prep School and with each correct answer scoring a point, we achieved 211,737 points in just three hours (one hour a day) of game play! There was also healthy competition between the classes and the final placings were 5S in 3rd, 4S in 2nd and with a total of 51,201 and winning with an average score of just 23 per pupil were…6M. Lastly, a battle of skill and determination ensued to claim the individual top spot, again with places constantly changing at the top of the leaderboard.

The final placings were Zainuddin (4S) in 3rd, Noah (4S) in 2nd and winning by 507 points with a score of 16,835 points was Abdullah (5M). His score equates to answering 93 questions correctly every minute over the three hours! Some truly remarkable statistics from the children! Well done to you all!
