Expert Advice at Vocal Workshop
There was a rousing end to the half term at our vocal workshop for tenors, basses and changing voices. Inspiring and expert advice was given by Mr Trevor Bowes, one of our singing Visiting Music Teachers. Projection, confidence and energy in the voice were all explored in a fun and practical way- all with gentle encouragement and support from Mr Bowes. We are fortunate to have such an experienced and expert teacher on our team – Mr Bowes studied at the University of Toronto and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland before being selected as one of Barbara Hannigan’s Equilibrium Young Artists. Based in London, Trevor has frequently performed at English National Opera, and most recently as Benoit in their Drive-in La Boheme, which was broadcast live on SKY arts.
