Fantastic Netball Season Starter

Last Wednesday, a team of U10 netballers participated in the Aberdour tournament.  It was a great experience, given we have only started to transition to netball this week.  Playing their first 7 a side format and into 10ft posts, the girls built on every match, only conceding their first game to the eventual winners- Aberdour ‘A’.  Finishing runner up, this bodes well for the rest of the season.

On Thursday, two teams participated in the Aberdour U9A and B netball tournaments.  It was a fantastic opportunity to kick off the season and Caterham were victorious in both pools. Caterham dominated the play, and it was a goal fest for both teams.

The seniors rounded off the hockey season this week with a fabulous afternoon of House matches.  There were two teams per house, and it was great to see fantastic teamwork on the pitch from everyone.  But it was the team in green -Pilgrims- who stole the show with maximum points and a bucket full of goals.  It marked the last hockey match for our Year 6s in the prep, we hope to see you next year running out on the Astro for the U12s. Well done.
