Festive Music Lights Up Wilberforce Hall

On Friday 5 December, the Wilberforce Hall was alive with the sound of music as our annual Prep Christmas Concert brought together parents and pupils for an evening of festive celebration. The atmosphere was warm and joyful as each ensemble took to the stage, showcasing their talent and hard work.

The concert opened with the orchestra, who delighted the audience with a lively mix of pieces including Naughty, Don’t Lose Ur Head, Last Christmas, and the ever-popular Santa Claus Is Coming to Town. Their performance set the tone for a fabulous evening full of musical variety.

Next, Bow & Beyond charmed listeners with their renditions of Ode to Joy and Jingle Bells, followed by the energetic Blast Off! ensemble, who brought sparkle to the stage with Ode to Joy and a spirited Sleigh Ride. The Ukulele Band offered a change of pace with a beautiful performance of A Whole New World, while Harp Harmony created a moment of calm through their serene performances of Away in a Manger and Silent Night.

Adding to the musical magic, the Concert Band entertained with Jolly Jingle Joyride and the playful When Santa’s Away, the Elves Will Play! Finally, the Senior Singers closed the evening with their brilliant versions of Winter Wonderland and Jingle Bells, leaving the audience humming along as the concert drew to a close.

It was truly an afternoon to remember, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to every performer for their dedication and talent. Thank you to our families for their support in making this event such a success.
