First Away Hockey Fixture for U8s
The hockey season got off to a flying start earlier this week, with our U8s heading away to The Hawthorns for their first taste of school matches. It was a great opportunity to practise our dribbling and passing skills, as well as teamwork. Lots of excitement could be heard across all pitches as goals were plentiful. Wednesday’s matches were hit by the downpour, but spirits remained high, and all our U10 and U11 teams put in a super performance despite the weather. Rounding off the week, the U9s had a super afternoon, with only one rain interruption briefly pausing play. Some strong ball carries and through balls look promising for the weeks ahead. Focus for the next match across all teams, will be to spread out and look for early passes.
