Football Fixtures Kick Off!
It was a sensational return to football fixtures against Banstead Prep for the Caterham boys this week! The Year 3 boys got the ball rolling with their first set of school fixtures and they really did the school proud. The A team played some wonderful football in a convincing 6-2 win, the B team enjoyed a 1-1 draw and the C team won 3-0.
On Wednesday, all 45 boys in Years 5 and 6 played in the Colts fixtures. With a clean sweep across the board, the A team won 4-2, the B team 6-2, the C team 14-0, the D team 2-0 and the E team 1-0. The football the boys played throughout all the teams was fantastic to watch and there seemed to be a wonderful synergy and team spirit between them.
The Under 9’s finished the week off in fine style with the A team wining 7-2 and the B team 12-0 with both sides playing some great football. All the boys are to be congratulated on a fine first set of fixtures, keep up the hard work.
