Footlights Drama Festival
Now in it’s second year, the Footlights Drama Festival got off to a cracking start last night with our Theatre Cats performing Be Careful What You Wish For. They were joined by casts from St John C of E Primary School with The Rosa Parks Story and St Francis’ Catholic Primary School who performed their version of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. The festival brings together children from different school communities, giving them an opportunity to share their love of drama and performance, learning from each other and building friendships along the way. The children worked extremely hard to give such fine performances. Well done to all who you took part! The festival continues tonight – good luck!
