Friendly Girls Football Fixtures Kick Off Season
The girls kicked off this half term with some friendly football fixtures against Micklefield. The aim of the next few weeks is to have the opportunity to learn skills and have the chance to play some friendly games against other schools, as well as internal matches. In the senior matches, there were some super individual skills on show particularly from Diya A, Aarya P, Katya Y and Khloe G, so we now need to link together and work as a whole team. The U9As dominated the play in their match on Thursday afternoon; the girls took on board key tips and worked hard on playing the ball through to our high striker and came away with a fabulous 6-0 win to round off the week. Next week, all year groups will play a block fixture against The Hawthorns.
