From Football to Lacrosse
On Wednesday afternoon, two teams combined from Years 5 and 6 played in a mixed ability football festival. It was a great afternoon all round, the girls demonstrated super teamwork and it was fantastic to see the progress in skills on the pitch. Passing and running off the ball continues to develop and there were lots of goal scoring opportunities. Between the teams, Caterham won 4, drew 5 and lost 1 game. Well done everyone- next week is a block fixture against Aberdour.
There was also an opportunity this week for a taste of lacrosse. The girls worked on cradling and scooping ground balls. Great fun was had by all and we will aim for another taster session soon.
