Getting Handy to Help NHS

Mrs Donovan, one of our Teaching Assistants has been putting her sewing skills to good use.

She is part of a small group of local people in Oxted, Caterham and the surrounding areas sewing scrubs for the NHS. Scrubs are a hygienic set of clothes worn by doctors, nurses and other workers involved in patient care in hospitals. They are designed to be simple (with minimal places for germs to hide) and easy to wash and reuse. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is a desperate need for scrubs to protect NHS workers.
