Golds at the Mathematical Association’s First Maths Challenge

Golds at the Mathematical Association’s First Maths Challenge

Last week all of Year 3 and Year 4 took part in the First Maths Challenge, a national competition run by the Mathematical Association.  This involved answering 20 multiple-choice questions which required children to use their problem-solving skills and powers of logic.  The children had great fun answering the challenge, and we are delighted that every child received a bronze, silver or gold certificate.  There were 5 children who achieved a gold score: very well done to Marble, Pierre, Alejandro, Albert and Humphrey.
