Year 5 scientists have been looking at the heliocentric model of the solar system by building an ‘Orrery’. By using https://www.theplanetstoday.com/ you can get a live view of the solar system and determine the position of different planets orbiting our star- the sun.
Some great work was undertaken using measurements and relative scaling to ensure the planets were positioned correctly!
