Let’s Get Together – House Activities 2023
The House system is an important part of Caterham Prep life and enables pupils from Reception up to Year 6 to come together to work towards shared goals. This year each House has been supporting a charity. Viewpoint chose Last Chance Animal Rescue based in Edenbridge, Foxburrow have been supporting Emmaus UK, a charity which works to end homelessness, and Pilgrims chose the St John’s Ambulance. Last week Pilgrims, Foxburrow and Viewpoint held a House afternoon to raise money for their chosen charities. The afternoon started with presentations about the charities by the Year 6 House Captains and this was followed by fun and games, including races, obstacle courses and an escape room challenge. It was wonderful to see our youngest and oldest pupils working together on a range of challenges and great fun was had by all! We are very grateful to Year 6 for making items for sale, and their collective efforts have enabled generous donations towards each of the charities. Many thanks to our Year 6 House Captains, Isaac, Willow, Tom, Jack, Maya and Xander for hard work and leadership this year.
