Lorraine Lee delivers Anxiety in Children Workshop for Parents

On Monday evening, Mrs Moore invited Lorraine Lee to deliver a workshop for parents around anxiety in children.  This was an incredibly useful session where we learned that anxiety is a normal human emotion expressed when a situation feels threatening. As children grow they experience many new situations and they must be able to build resilience by processing and coping with some level of discomfort or unfamiliar emotions.  We were taught age-appropriate strategies to help children use when they feel worried, and how our own language and reactions can best support them.  It was a fascinating evening and we look forward to welcoming Lorraine back soon for further workshops.
