Mixing Measurements
Year 6 pupils have been investigating units of measurement, learning to convert metric and imperial units, as well as concocting their own units of measurement. Developing and refining these, they have measured their environment in a number of ways, using estimating and calculation to move between different traditional (and less traditional) measures.
They even borrowed the occasional teacher to help in their research (it turns out Mr Lang is 8 ‘Stranger Things’ tall).
