Moncrieff Jones Society Video Competition Launched

Moncrieff Jones Society Video Competition Launched

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Sixth Formers Kayla and Sydney from the Moncrieff-Jones Society (MJS) this week as they announced the 2024 Science Video Competition!

The MJS is a prestigious science society which has been running for over 51 years in the senior school and offers pupils the opportunity to present detailed, self-researched papers in a forum to further the understanding of science in Caterham School.

This week, the tables were turned to the Prep School! The children in Years 3 to 6 have been invited to enter the video competition.

The rules are: it must be no longer than four minutes, be about your favourite scientific invention and be submitted using the QR code on the posters by Tuesday 4 June 2024. There was a surge of interest which swept the hall with this announcement, and last year’s winners of this competition (Piers and Alex) were already eagerly discussing topics they would like to cover!

If you need any more information for topic ideas, please ask Mrs Hills-Matthews and if you need any help with how to upload or format, please ask Mr Lang.
