Senior and Partnership Netball Friendlies
On Tuesday, girls from Years 5 and 6 were invited to play at the senior school against the U12 D and E teams. It was a great experience to play in the sports hall with the older pupils and although the seniors came away with 6-1 and 5-2 wins, the prep girls demonstrated some super passing passages of play and particularly strong interceptions by Michelle N and Isla T.
On Wednesday afternoon, the weather in Sevenoaks prevented the U11/10 A and B fixture against Russell House but thankfully the sun shone in Caterham, defrosting the courts and we were able to host a group of pupils from St. John’s for some friendly five a side Netball with our U11/10 C and D teams. It was fantastic for the prep girls to play against a local primary partnership school and the St John’s pupils thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to experience a fixture; they are already looking forward to coming back again in a few weeks.
