Ocean Friendly Award Team Drop in on Eco Warriors
On Tuesday, our Year 6 eco-warriors were treated to a teams call from Stephen, a member of the Ocean-Friendly Schools Award Team. We had an interactive session with him where he explained why looking after the ocean is of such importance. He asked the children lots of questions and was very impressed with their knowledge and understanding of pollution in the ocean, where it comes from and why we need to make a huge effort to clean up our seas. The eco-warriors will be working through the steps of the award and hope to earn this award in the next few weeks. It is very exciting to be part of this project and the children who are involved are thrilled to be taking part.
