Operation Kindness
In the lead-up to Anti-Bullying Week, pupils across the prep school have been taking part in Operation: Kindness. A week dedicated to celebrating and spreading kindness in all its forms. Each day, the children have completed special “kindness missions,” from writing compliment cards and leaving positive Post-it notes hidden around the school, to adding links to our growing acts-of-kindness paper chains.
It has been wonderful to see the children’s enthusiasm and thoughtfulness throughout the week, reminding us all how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference in our school community.
Anti-bullying assembly
On Monday, the children wore odd socks ahead of national Odd Socks Day, marking the beginning of Anti-Bullying Week. The day is designed to encourage everyone to celebrate what makes them unique and to raise awareness of bullying. Monday’s assembly focused on the importance of kindness and thinking of others. Today, some of our Year 6 pupils led a thoughtful assembly all about anti-bullying, raising awareness and reinforcing how kindness and respect help to make our school a happy and supportive community.
